Ode to a Kiwi

Genevieve Bevenour

Kiwi,
sour
but so
sweet.
Rough on
the outside,
smooth
on the
inside.
Up close
you
resemble
a sparkling
emerald.
Far away,
a
hard,
brown,
rock.
