Tickets for the performance, held at 7:00 p.m. on the mainstage at The Adrienne, 2030 Sansom Street, are $15.00 for general admission or $10.00 for InterAct subscribers. Discount subscriptions and group rates are also available.   The June 15 Writing Aloud opens with “Lottery Man” written by Gloria Klaiman (of Jenkintown, PA) and read by Nancy Boykin (seen recently in DRIVING MISS DAISY at Hedgerow Theater).  “Lottery Man” follows Gabrielle, who begins to learn about her beloved husband’s innermost thoughts only after he has passed away.   The program continues with “Eleanor and Uncle Leonard,” written by Brenda Witmer (of Lancaster, PA) and read by Miriam White (artistic director of Nice People Theatre Company).  “Eleanor and Uncle Leonard” depicts the unusual relationship between a grown man and a life-size doll, as seen through the eyes of his young niece, Paula.

The program concludes with “Going Home,” written by Tom Teti (of Malvern, PA) and read by Tim Moyer (seen most recently as Polonius in HAMLET at Lantern Theatre).  “Going Home” follows a father taking his teenage son to his old school, and really connecting with him for the first time.
