Dear Friends,

The DCCC Performing Arts Concert Series kicks off the Spring Semester with one of the most sought after talents in Japanese traditional music today. Koto virtuoso Masayo Ishigure will take the stage in a program highlighting the depth and intricacy of koto performance through works which explore the evolution of the instruments performance practice over the centuries.

Masayo Ishigure is in high demand performing in venues around the globe from Carnegie Hall and the San Diego Symphony to performing for John William's Soundtrack to "Memoirs of a Geisha" with Yitzhak Perlman, Yo Yo Ma, and others. Don't miss this incredible opportunity to hear one of the masters of the enchanting instrument.

The concert will take place this weekend on Sunday February 7 @ 3pm in the Large Auditorium of our Marple Campus.  The concerts are FREE to the public.
