THIS Saturday, JUNE 5th at dusk (approx 7 pm), the Mad Poets will host a Mad Poets Bonfire,
an open outdoor forum for poets, songwriters, musicians, drummers, and anyone who enjoys poetry and music. The bonfire will be held at Ridley Creek State Park, Tenting Area # 13, Unit A.
The event is free and open to the public. Bring your poetry or your favorite poets' work, friends, blanket, flashlight, and musical instruments to enjoy an autumn night under the stars to the sounds of poetry and music. We bring the marshmallows!
Mad Poets have rented the area from 3 pm on Saturday through 3 pm on Sunday. Participants and listeners can camp overnight at the park, or just come to the bonfire which will happen at dusk on Saturday night. You must be in the park by dusk , or the gates will be locked (park gates will be locked at approx. 8:00 pm). If you want to come only for the bonfire, you can get out of the park following the bonfire, you do not need to camp overnight.
