Author, professor and editor Lynn Rosen is hosting a brand new workshop: Open Book Hamlet. The one-time workshop includes a discussion of the play and a trip to see the new production of Hamlet by The Lantern Theater Company, at St. Stephens Theater, located at 10th and Ludlow Streets.
The program will take place on Sunday, May, 3rd. Those participating will meet at 2pm at the theater, take in the performance, and convene afterwards in a private room to discuss the play. The discussion will center on the play and explore methods of staging the play, and how it was staged in that particular production. The group will also analyze the character Hamlet and how he has been interpreted over the years.
The cost for the afternoon is $45, which covers both the ticket and the discussion afterwards. All those interested are welcome but seats are limited, so please notify Lynn of your interest ASAP. And please feel free to notify your friends!
All those planning to attend please re-read the play before the class!
