Kay Peters is a registered nurse, mother, and grandmother who has come late to writing poetry. Her work has been published in Philadelphia Poets, Mad Poets Review, and Schuylkill Valley Journal. She has been a participant in the Center City workshop since 2004.
Joyce Meyers’ poems have appeared in The Comstock Review, The Ledge, Pearl, White Pelican Review, Mad Poets Review and Philadelphia Poets, among others, and have received International Merit Awards from Atlanta Review. Her first chapbook Wild Mushrooms was published by Plan B Press in 2007; her second, Shapes of Love, is forthcoming from Finishing Line Press.
Jeanne Obbard was a member of the Delaware County/Main Line workshop from 1999 to 2001. A former Leeway Award recipient who has been published in Atlanta Review and Philadelphia Stories, she currently works in clinical research.
Rosalind Kaplan is a physician practicing Internal Medicine in the Philadelphia area. Her memoir, The Patient in the White Coat, is forthcoming in September 2010 from Kaplan Publishing in New York (no relation!). She lives with her husband, adolescent children, and two bad dogs in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania
Deborah Derrickson Kossmann received a 2004 Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Fellowship in poetry. Her prose and poetry have appeared in various publication including The New York Times, Runes, Philadelphia Stories and Tiferet. Currently she is working on a collection of humorous essays tentatively titled My Cat’s on Valium and Other Stories of Suburban Living. She is a clinical psychologist in private practice outside Philadelphia.
