July 31st will kick off the first WAMPP- Wine Art Music Poetry Project charity fundraiser benefitting The Cardiomyopathy Foundation, and (CHD) congenital heart disease research. Chef Elizabeth Stelling of cookAppeal, LLC who runs local open mics in the Plainsboro and Princeton area had an idea for this event two years ago when one of her client's children passed away from Cardiomyopathy, as well as her own daughter who fought CHD for fourteen years, and passed ten years ago.

Two events will take place this year- July 31st, 11 - 5 PM, Amalthea Cellars in Atco, and August 21st, 10-8 PM The Straube Center of Pennington. The beautiful winery grounds and Straube Center are the perfect place to bring lawn chairs and blankets while spending the afternoon sipping on great wine and food while enjoying local grass root New Jersey performers and local artist such as Joe Cerisano and Blue Jersey Band.

Admission is free, but a suggested donation will be posted at the entrance of both locations, and it is going to a very worthy cause. For more information or donations- www.wampp.cookappeal.com/ If you are an artist, poet, or musician and would like to be a part of this event, please contact: Elizabeth@cookappeal.com
