For a minimum donation of $30 a year, you can get home delivery and know that your gift directly supports the local arts community. Here are other ways you can show your support for local writers with a donation to Philadelphia Stories:

  • We are a confirmed charity with the PayPal Giving Fund. Simply select “Philadelphia Stories” when you make a donation through the PayPal Giving Fund.
  • We are a confirmed charity with Amazon Smile: just login through smile.amazon.com. Right on top under “Supporting,” click “Change,” search for “Philadelphia Stories Inc” and click Select.
  • Consider Donating Your IRA’s required minimum distribution to Philadelphia Stories. You can allocate a portion of your RMD as a charitable donation to Philadelphia Stories (tax exempt number 05-0601528) by December 31 to exclude that amount from taxable income. Ask your accountant or financial planner for details!

  • Publishing and distributing 20,000 copies of the free magazine to area libraries, bookstores, cafes, and more each year.
  • Publishing PS Teen and PS Junior by local young authors and distributing 4,000 copies of the free magazine to area libraries and schools each year.
  • Hosting free readings, book launches, and other events that connect writers to readers.
  • Hosting affordable creative writing workshops where writers can grow their professional learning networks and develop their craft.
