Welcome to the summer issue of Philadelphia Stories, Jr. !
Philadelphia Stories, Jr., a division of the nonprofit Philadelphia Stories, is a new literary magazine by writers age 18 and under who currently live in Pennsylvania, Delaware, or Southern New Jersey. Philadelphia Stories, Jr. includes fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, and art and expands the Philadelphia Stories’ mission to develop a community of writers, artists, and readers through the magazine and education programs for young writers and artists.
We received many great submissions for our second issue, including the winning pieces from the"Young Writers Take the Park" contest. Please help us celebrate its release on Saturday, May 12, from 3-5, at the Musehouse Literary Arts Center. in Chestnut Hill!
